"The other night a jolly American fellow with a bushy moustache entered the club (we let in anyone these days). Apparently his name was Larry and I commented on his rather splendid hat. I enquired what it was advertising and he told me it was a secret. A new bar and hotel opening soon close to The Windmill. If it's a secret, why are you telling me, I asked. He had no reply, it was just a publicity stunt. I let him take some photos of some of our lovely ladies wearing his secret hat, just to keep him quiet. It is a rather nice hat and makes my ladies look even lovelier than ever."
